چکیده
The CIDOC Conceptual Reference Model (CIDOC-CRM) is an ISO Standard ontology for the cultural domain that used enabling semantic interoperability between museums, libraries, archives and other institutions. For leveraging CIDOC-CRM, several processes tasks have to be carried out. It therefore important investigate what extent we can automate these in order facilitate interoperability. this reason, paper, describe related tasks, survey recent works apply machine learning (ML) techniques reducing costs CIDOC-CRM-based compliance In particular, (a) analyze main (b) identify where advances of ML (including Deep Learning) would beneficial, (c) cases has been applied (and results are successful/promising) (d) suggest benefit from applying ML. Finally, since approaches leverage both CIDOC-CRM data few number, (e) introduce our vision given topic, (f) provide a list open datasets potentially tasks.

CIDOC CRM and Epigraphy: a Hermeneutic Challenge
This paper identifies the main concepts involved in the study of epigraphy and proposes the use of CIDOC CRM to encode epigraphic concepts and to model the scientific process of investigation related to the study of epigraphy. After analysing the existing CIDOC CRM entities and those provided by the CRMsci and CRMarchaeo extensions, we introduce more specific epigraphic classes to be used as th...
متن کاملDublin Core and CIDOC CRM Harmonization
According to the literature, there are many XML metadata mapping to the CIDOC CRM ontology efforts, since this ontology is considered one of the most appropriate models in integration architecture. On the other hand, Dublin Core is the most used metadata in semantic web applications. In this way, metadata can be mapped into an ontology to provide interoperability of its data and to achieve info...

متن کاملTypes and Annotations for CIDOC CRM Properties
The CIDOC CRM provides an extensive ontology for describing entities and properties appearing in cultural heritage (CH) documentation, history and archeology. CRM provides some means for describing information about properties (property types, attribute assignment, and "long-cuts") and guidelines for extending the vocabulary. However, these means are far from complete, and in some cases there i...
